Lately my little peanut has become much more daring! I used to think she was a "cautious" baby because she always seemed to think about what she was doing before she actually did it. Crawling, walking, climbing, etc......she never jumped right into things. She had to test the waters many, many times before attempting to do them on her own. Yesterday though, she decided that she was skilled enough at going up and down our stairs that she could now do it standing up and without assistance. She chose to walk down on the side that does not have a railing, so eventually she ended up with nothing to hang onto except the wall. She also thought it would be fun to take her sippy cup with her. Somehow she made it down all of the stairs without a tumble. We do have gates at the top and bottom, however we are going to need to be extra careful once we open them and unleash the beast from now on!
