Goopy Eyed Girl

In addition to the cold, cough and teething, Lili now has pink eye...in both eyes. The poor kid is a walking disease! Luckily Drew was at home trying to get some sleep after working all night and was able to get to her quickly and take her to the doctor. We're both trying to figure out how exactly they expect us to put antibiotic drops in her eyes twice a day. We had a hell of a time pinning her down and forcing her lids open. She was NOT a happy girl! I just hope we're getting enough in to make a difference... The good news is that I was able to get some tomatoes and applesauce in her for dinner tonight. She wanted nothing to do with most of the other stuff we tried and lately hasn't been wanting to eat much at all. As you can see from the pics, she definitely enjoyed spooning the yummy "bopplesauce" into her mouth and eventually decided that drinking it might get it in even faster. She also got a fun gift (princess PJs with a little tutu!) from Aunt Susan, Uncle Tom and her cousins in WA. She kept calling the gift tag a "sticka" and trying to stick it to herself! Despite not feeling well, she was still our funny little girl!
