Little Man scares me. I can already foresee that he is going to be the child we find standing in their crib with poop smeared all over the walls and a shit-eating (literally!) grin on their face. Leaving him in just a diaper almost isn't an option these days. As soon as the last side is secured, he is off and running and those hands are grabbing at the back...pulling it down... Even 2 piece outfits are becoming a pain because he just grabs his pants right along with the diaper and proceeds to yank on them. One-piece outfits have become our friends and this boy will NEVER see 2 piece pajama sets...at least not for a long, long time. Until he proves to us that he's not a danger to himself...or his walls...
It is crazy to see them side by side and to see really how CLOSE in age they are, they are practically the same size now, Will has grown so much he is catching up to Lili!! Before it was like you had a toddler and a baby, now you definitely have TWO toddlers, you are my hero!!
I am a mother of two toddlers (16 months apart), who are slowly but surely sucking the life out of me. My memory is shot to hell, but the one thing I DO remember each and every day is how grateful I am to get to be their Mom and how empty my life would be without them!
