The Friday we were in Ohio we spent the day in Mentor with Auntie Kristen. 1st we went to Farm Park which was basically a working farm that does all kinds of educational things to teach about what goes on in farm life every day. We saw sheep shearing, took a wagon ride, visited lots of different animals, watched cows being milked (Lili wanted nothing to do with doing it herself, even though they would have let her), etc. It was lots of fun! Here are a few pictures from our morning...
Lili kept asking about ponies and pony rides and the lucky little girl got one!
She was SO excited! This was her 2nd pony ride (the 1st was last Halloween at the pumpkin patch) and she looked like a natural to me both times. In fact, the lady at the pumpkin patch said she had 'perfect posture for being so young'...whatever that means. Anyway, this was definitely the highlight of her visit to Farm Park!
The llamas were also a favorite since Lili's favorite book is 'Llama Llama Red Pajama' (with 'Llama Llama Misses Mama' and 'Llama Llama Mad At Mama' not far behind!). She kept wanting to pet them, but Kristen thought they looked evil, so she did her best to hold her back.
After Farm Park we went to the mall, stopped at Chick-Fil-A for lunch and then Auntie Kristen treated Lili to Build A Bear!
Lili picked out a Hello Kitty and had a BLAST helping the lady stuff her and put her heart in and sew her up!
Her absolute favorite part though was 'bathing' Kitty. She spent the longest time scrubbing her and kept going back for another bath.
Then she selected an outfit and all of the essentials her kitty would need!
She was SO excited to see that Hello Kitty could even wear panties!
Auntie Kristen did a great job getting Kitty dressed while Lili directed...

After printing out Hello Kitty's birth certificate and getting her house ready, we left. The box was so big Lili just dragged it behind her, which I thought was so stinkin' cute!
