Friends

Last weekend we had a playdate with one of Lili's friends from New Horizons (the daycare center we used to have the kids in). Dakotah and her Mom, Katy, came for some afternoon play time and pizza and the kids had a blast. It was so cute seeing Lili and Dakotah together! Dakotah is just a few months older than Lili and they both started at the center when they were babies. Katy reminded me that the first friend name Dakotah said when she was first learning to talk was 'Lili'. It's pretty funny to see how much they have both grown and how different their little personalities are!

Isn't this just the sweetest picture? Lili almost looks innocent...
Katy was awesome with the kids. I told her she really should have chosen a profession involving children...
Lili 'taunting' everyone with her display of Goldfish crackers (which she did not want to share)...
The girls marking their Goldfish territories...
Taking a break in the saucer chairs...
This was the best we could get at getting them both to look at the camera...
Playing hide-n'-seek. Katy was hiding and the girls were in the hallway counting. They did pretty good with 1-10, but after that was a little spotty. As you can see, they couldn't quite control themselves enough to keep their eyes closed...
Occasionally we did get them to put their heads down. It just never lasted long...
At one point they stood and waited out their time before hunting Katy down...
There were some rides in the pram and also a few tears that went along with them. We had a few crashes and some hurt feelings...
Getting the girls to smile on the slide wasn't too difficult...
Heck, they even wanted to look at the camera...
Despite having a few issues with 'sharing', Lili is already talking about when 'Koda' (as she calls her) can come over to play again. Lucky for her, we will be starting a gymnastics class with 'Koda' this Saturday!
