Playdates Attack!

A friend of mine suggested scheduling some playdates for the kids this weekend, to keep my mind off of the fact that I am a single Mom for the next 4 days. Suddenly, we went from doing nothing, to having 3 events scheduled!

Last night my friend Ciana came over for dinner and some play time with her 2 little ones. Logan is almost 3 and Callie is 5 months. I have always joked that Logan and Lili will one day become boyfriend and girlfriend. They are so close in age and both came into the world early and under a similar set of circumstances. Also, I think their names just sound cool together...Logan and Lili. Cute, right?

So here is Miss. Callie...she is just the sweetest baby...

Our attempt at adding Will to the mix. He just wasn't into it...
Today we met up with my friend Dixie and her 2 munchkins, Tyler (5) and Lindsey (3). We played for awhile at our house, gave them a snack and then headed over to the Monticello community center pool.
Lili was pretty nervous when it came to the water...but she really liked that plastic turtle...
Manimal was SUPER excited! This was his first experience in a pool, so he didn't even know what to do with himself...
Tyler was pretty self-sufficient and loved the slides...
Even Lindsey was on her own most of the time and needed very little assistance from the Moms...
Unfortunately the community center open swim hours were right in the middle of the kid's nap times, so they were a wee bit tired when we finally got home around 2pm. Of course somehow they managed to stay awake in the car. After getting them inside and changing their diapers, I went to put Will down for his nap and came back out to find this.... That looks so good right now...
