On X-Mas Eve Mommy and Daddy told Lili about how the reindeer love treats and if you sprinkle reindeer food out in the snow, they will know to bring Santa to your house. Daddy took her outside and Lili sprinkled all of the RED food in the snow. She thought this was so great...little did she know it actually looked as if the reindeer were massacred in her front yard...
Mommy and Daddy then told Lili all about Santa's love for cookies and milk. They made up a little plate of goodies and a nice glass of skim milk (Santa could afford to lose a few pounds) and convinced Lili that it was absolutely necessary for her to go to bed in order for Santa to come and bring her presents. As she made her way to her room, she had to run back to the table several times to check and make sure the cookies were still there and that Santa hadn't already come.
On X-Mas morning, Lili woke up to an almost empty plate of cookies and an empty glass of milk. She seemed slightly irritated when she declared, 'Santa ate my cookies and drank my milk!". Apparently there was a sense of ownership with the goodies and Lili must have thought she would get to enjoy them for breakfast. Santa did leave her part of cookie, which she took into the living room with her when we told her she should go check her stocking to see if Santa left her any treats.
Lucky for Will, that cookie ended up on the floor and since he didn't give a rat's ass about stockings or presents, he was able to concentrate on stuffing his little mouth.
It's a good thing Lili didn't notice...of course, he ate it like he hadn't been fed in months and shoved the whole thing in his mouth.
Lili got a kick out of looking in the stocking to find each of the goodies left for her.
Will was mesmerized by the process...
An ornament was ooohhhhd and ahhhhdddd over, then tossed to the side.
Will took breaks to slug down his bottle. It's tough work eating cookies this early in the morning!
Socks? Hmmm... Oh wait, KITTY socks!?!? YAY!!!To be continued...in Part Deux
