Visit From The Grandparents

It had been awhile since Drew's parents were here for a visit, so we were SO excited to see them at the end of July! They even brought Great Grandma Lane with them (Lili was named after her!). Although the trip was short, we packed in lots of quality time and a few adventures too!

Lili and Will LOVED the extra attention and thought it was so fun having them here! Grandma and Grandpa were even daring enough to take them for a walk. Granted, they only made it to the corner and back, but I'm pretty sure that was enough for them! Lili was pretty good and stayed on her trike, but Will was a wild man. His favorite game is to run down the sidewalk, run up every driveway that he comes to...and hide behind random cars so that you will chase him down. He laughs hysterically the whole time.
We made a trip to Cabela's...which made Drew vow never to take both kids with us again. He decided it was a TERRIBLE idea to do this!
The kids LOVED playing in the display 4-wheelers and other outdoor vehicles they had. Since it kept them happy and fairly contained, we ignored the giant red signs in front of each one that said, 'NO CHILDREN ALLOWED!'.
I tried to capture some family photos as well...though some people were uncooperative...ummm...DREW! This was the best I could do at showing 3 generations of Lane men.
What's that? A little smile? Don't worry, it didn't last long!
Grandma Shirley and Great Grandma Lillian...
Mother and son...I really like this one!
Grandma was such a good sport...sittin' with her grandbaby in their mini saucer chairs! At least she can fit! I'm not sure I could even get one butt cheek in...
In this picture I can see such a family resemblance!!! Lili fits right in!
Proud grandparents!
