On Labor Day the kids and I had a playdate with our good friends while Daddy went golfing. The 4 kiddos hadn't had an opportunity to play together in awhile and were SO excited to see each other! I told Lili about our park outing the night before and she kept asking when we were going to play with her 'best friend Tinsey'...a.k.a. Lindsey. The girls came up with nicknames for each other quite awhile ago and ever since they've called each other Tili and Tinsey. Tyler and Will were just as happy to join the fun and Tyler immediately grabbed Will's hand to help navigate the playground equipment.
These two sweeties have a real sisterly love/hate relationship going on. If they aren't hugging each other and telling people that they are BFFs, they're hitting and screaming at each other. One minute you want to shake them both...and the next you are almost shedding a tear at how sweet they are...
With Lindsey being almost exactly 1 year older, Lili has always looked up to her. She loves to torment Lindsey like the 'little sister' she is, but she also loves to do everything that she does!
Tyler is so good with Will and often plays the 'older brother'. Of course Will has a mind of his own these days and doesn't always let Tyler help him, but you can definitely see that Will loves the attention!
...and I love having Tyler around because when Will escapes I don't even have to ask him to go get him...he just does it! Now how awesome is that?!?
...and then there's my buddy Dixie...who loves my kids like they are her own...
...and gives them smooches to make them laugh!

After our fun time at the park we headed back to our house for a pizza lunch and some goofing around. Dixie is always getting herself into these interesting photo opps...and I try to warn her...but then she just goes and does it again. Maybe someday she'll learn...
...though obviously on this day she didn't... In fact, she taught Tyler how to be a goofball too...
...and Tili and Tinsey got in on the action too!
It was a perfect day and we can't wait to have another playdate with our buddies SOON!
